Aesop’s Fables

aesops fables

Aesop was a Greek storyteller who wrote short stories over 2,500 years ago.

A fable is a very short story with a MORAL (lesson).

Today we read some of Aesop’s Fables and learnt some valuable morals from his stories.

Here are some lessons that we learnt.
1.
foxstork
Something that may be funny when it happens to someone else may not be funny when it happens to you.

2.astromoner The Astronomer – Don’t walk around with your heads in the clouds.

3. hare and tort
The Hare and the Tortoise – Slow and steady can win the race.

Here is another one of Aesop’s Fables… Can you figure out what the moral is?
